Roval’s choice to go with a combination of a 21mm internal rim width and tubeless compatibility out of the box results in the perfect setup and support for modern road tires, allowing you to run lower pressures with lower rolling resistance and increased grip. For hubs, you’ll find that the Alpinist CLX II wheels come with the new Roval LFD hubs which feature legendary DT Swiss internals and a 36 ratchet for quick engagement. DT Swiss SINC Ceramic bearings keep things spinning as efficiently as possible. Add it all up and you’ve got a ridiculously light 1265g wheelset that’s designed to win World Tour races.
