The SRAM X01 DH 7 speed derailleur is purpose-built to meet the needs of the world's most demanding downhill riders. By reducing the gear count to 7 speeds, SRAM gives the rider the gears they need most and cuts out the excess, resulting in performance that is absolutely dialed and ready to perform.

The X01 DH 7 rear derailleur is centered on SRAM's X-Horizon technology, a offset horizontal parallelogram design that maintains consistent chain gap across all seven gears, eliminating vertical movement for faster shifting and reducing shift force. This design puts an end to ghost shifts and potential chain drops by keeping the chain in line and properly tensioned at all times, improving your overall pedaling efficiency.

SRAM's X-Sync technology trickles down from their chainrings to the derailleur pulleys on this version of X01. A deeper tooth profile reduces chain bounce and slap and increases chain retention and stability, ensuring that you won't drop your chain, even when shifting across multiple cogs when attacking hardcore terrain. Aluminum cage construction and stainless steel hardware stand up to the elements and demands of heavy-duty riding and don't look half bad either. The sleek, stealth aesthetic of the X01 DH group is a fitting outer wrapping, perhaps even a foreshadowing of your future downhill runs spec'd out in DH X01.
