Paul Racer M Brake

Wow, a modern, yet retro medium-reach center pull brake that has great stopping power and clears fenders? The M is for medium, which means 47-57mm reach (that's one click on the dial longer than standard road). It clears a 45mm fender, which covers just about all of them, and it also makes room for a 32mm tire. Check the image, too. There's a little bit of a cut-out on the arms, meaning this brake shouldn't pinch your fender like some dual pivot brakes are known to do. The brakes include Kool-Stop thinline brake pads.

Take note:

The Paul Components Racer M brake will not attach to standard cantilever brake bosses, these brakes require cantilever bosses to be mounted in a slightly higher location than standard. They also will not attach to U brake bosses. Consult a framebuilder with questions about the installation of these brakes.
