Long-travel mountain bikes are great for the descents. If you're the type of rider who enjoys letting off the brakes and going as fast as possible downhill, then you'll want a freeride bike. The Rocky Mountain Slayer A30 Shimano Bike is longer and slacker than ever so you can rip and send with ease. The FORM Alloy frame uses 180mm of travel on the front and rear. The frame has RIDE-4 adjustable geometry so you can dial in the perfect feel. The frame also features fully sealed cartridge bearings, internal cable routing, 2-bolt ISCG-05 tabs, and a 2-position axle. The small and medium frames come with 29"/27.5" MX wheels and the large and extra large frames come with 29" wheels.

The A30 Shimano version of the Rocky Mountain Slayer comes with a Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain. You get a 10-51T gear range on the cassette so you can still climb back to the top of the mountain after you've shredded all the way down. Shimano MT4120 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend under control. WTB ST i30 TCS 2.0 rims are paired with Maxxis tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. Ditch them tubes! With the Rocky Mountain Toonie Drop Composite, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle with the press of a lever so you can climb efficiently and descend with a lower center of gravity.
