Downcountry Riding Unleashed

Downcountry lives somewhere between XC and Trail riding. These bikes have a similar geometry to a cross-country bike but with longer suspension travel, so you can get a little rowdy on the singletrack. The Scott Spark 960 Bike is a lightweight downcountry bike that is fast and ultra-capable on all sorts of terrain. It has an Alloy SL 6011 frame that uses 130mm of travel on the front and 120mm of travel on the rear. It features Integrated Suspension Technology that keeps the rear shock inside the frame and also makes it easy to access the rear shock. The frame also features an adjustable head angle, internal cable routing, UDH interface, and integrated frame protection.

The 960 version of the Scott Spark comes with a Shimano XT mixed 12-speed drivetrain. With a 32T chainring up front and a cassette with an ultra-wide 10-51T gear range on the rear, you'll have no issue climbing steep hills or pedaling through demanding terrain. Shimano MT501 hydraulic disc brakes provide highly reliable stopping power so you can descend under control. Syncros X-30SE rims are paired with Schwalbe Wicked Will tires that can be set up tubeless so you can ditch the inner tubes and drop the tire pressure for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the Syncros Duncan Dropper Post, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle from your handlebars.
