True Trail-Taming Capability

When it comes to cross-country riding, nothing quite beats having a hardtail underneath you while you're conquering the hills. Hardtails are perfect for climbing, descending, and everything in between. The Specialized Rockhopper Comp 29" Bike is the culmination of 30 years of redefining the relationship between value and performance. The Rockhopper has a Premium A1 aluminum frame that has modern geometry and has a size-specific 90 - 100mm of travel on the front. The frame features internal cable routing, quick-release dropouts, stealth rack mounts, and dropper post compatibility.

The Comp version of the Specialized Rockhopper comes with a MicroSHIFT Advent 9-speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette with a wide 11-42T gear range that makes climbing much easier. SRAM Level hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power so you can descend under control. With the Stout Alloy rims and Fast Trak Sport tires, you'll have excellent traction while you're riding the trails.
