Constructed from unidirectional carbon fiber, the XR 1.0 carbon stem is designed with a low stack height and a negative rise for aggressive mountain bikers looking to lower their handlebar position. They employ a strategic pairing of aluminum and carbon fiber to achieve the perfect balance of strength, stiffness and a low weight. The body is forged from an advanced 7050 aluminum before being reinforced with high modulus carbon fiber. The wide four-bolt face plate design better distributes stress and lowers the clamping force required to secure the handlebar. Whether you're an all-in XC racer or a rowdy trailteer, the XR 1.0's carbon-swathed design could be the missing link.
