Spinergy’s Stealth FCC 3.2 wheels should be at the top of your list if you’re looking for an affordable carbon wheelset to give you a competitive advantage when the road starts to point upward. The lightweight carbon rims keep rotational weight to a minimum while the 32mm deep rim profile gives you a slight aerodynamic benefit, resulting in a climbing focused rim that’s still plenty fast on the flats. The 18mm internal rim width creates an excellent platform for both modern clincher and tubeless tires. Tubeless tire compatibility ensures you’ll be able to run your favorite set of tires at lower pressures for increased traction. Lacing the carbon rims to the hubs are Spinergy’s own aero bladed PBO power spokes which have been engineered to offer three times the strength of a stainless steel spoke while also being vertically compliant which translates into a smoother ride over rough surfaces. For hubs, Spinergy went with their brand new “44 hub” which offers a jaw-dropping 108 points of engagement for maximum power efficiency and torque. Simply put, the Stealth FCC 3.2 wheels are extremely light, rich on features, and low on price.
