When you need more than just a trail bike to conquer the terrain, you'll want to reach for an all-mountain bike. All-mountain bikes have longer travel than trail bikes and can descend much easier while still being able to climb. The Yeti SB140 27.5" LR C2 Factory Bike is built to handle trails that are untamed and unrelenting. The frame uses C-Series carbon fiber and has 140mm of travel on the rear and 160mm of travel on the front. The frame features a threaded bottom bracket, high-clearance downtube, dual-density downtube protection, fully enclosed internal cable routing, long dropper post compatibility, and Boost spacing.
The LR C2 version of the Yeti SB140 comes with a SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 10-50T gear range that makes climbing and pedaling through rough terrain much easier. SRAM Code R 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend with confidence. DT Swiss E1900 30mm wheels are paired with Maxxis Assegai and Minion DHR II tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the OneUp Dropper Post, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle with the press of a lever.

,format=auto/globalassets/blog-articles/youtube/orbea-rise-v1-long-term-review/rise-blog.jpg)
We get a lot of questions about e-bikes, especially the Orbea Rise, so we figured we’d throw up a quick long-term review of one from one of the employees here at Jenson, Alex. Alex lives up in the mountains here in Southern California and has to do a fair bit of climbing and pedaling around at his local trail system to get to trails. Because he is in such high elevation, oxygen levels are different and make it a bit more difficult to breathe. This alone made it hard for him to enjoy long rides, especially when temperatures drop and snow season arrives.

The Norco Optic and Sight are a couple of the most popular trail and all-mountain bikes available, respectively. New for 2024, Norco has completely updated their suspension platform, moving from a traditional 4-bar design to a high-pivot 4-bar design to increase versatility. No matter how much travel you choose, a high pivot bike will be able to punch above its weight class.

With so many choices of bikes you can choose to purchase, not all of them are made to fit every rider out there. Some bikes may be too progressive, some too long, some too short, etc. When a bike comes from the factory, it may not be totally suitable for the rider which leads to more money coming out of pocket to help tailor a more fitting ride. Luckily, there are brands out there who know this is a problem so they make adjustments from the factory to help better fit their customer base. One of these brands is Juliana Bicycles.
