The Marzocchi Bomber Z2 is known for its incredible bang-for-buck value and top tier rivaling performance. For the E-Optimized version of the Z2, Marzocchi set out to maintain all of the best aspects of the standard Z2 while making sure to only tweak and redesign as few parts as necessary to make it optimized for E-MTB’s. The E-Optimized Z2 features a stouter and reinforced chassis for increased durability and strength. The suspension has also been tuned for Enduro use, which translates over well for E-MTB’s. Just like the standard Z2, the E-Optimized Z2 features the same RAIL Damper which not only offers solid adjustment but is also incredibly easy to use and maintain. The RAIL Damper utilizes an open bath design instead of a more common cartridge design, which makes fork maintenance dead simple and makes the Bomber Z2 perfect for riders who like to work on their own bikes. The Z2 features large 34mm diameter stanchions which are not only incredibly stiff, making them ideal for E-MTB’s, but they also improve braking, cornering, and overall riding confidence. Use of standard FOX seals, air shafts, and volume spacers makes finding replacement parts a breeze. At the end of the day, the E-Optimized Bomber Z2 is a top tier no-frills suspension fork that is easy to maintain and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.
