THE MAGIC CARPET RIDE

Gravel continues to be one of the most popular forms of riding in the bike world. Riders are able to ride on the streets and easily transition to riding on the gravel with ease. When it comes to more aggressive trail riding though, gravel bikes get left behind. With the Niner MCR 9 RDO, you'll be able to ride faster, go farther, and stay longer. The MCR 9 has 50mm of Constantly Varying Arc suspension that is gravel-tuned for more confidence, comfort, and control on rougher terrain. You can lock out the rear shock with a handlebar remote so you can climb faster with less bobbing and the fork has a lockout as well. The carbon fiber frame has clearance for up to 700x50c or 650b x 2.0" tires. The frame also has an integrated rear fender that protects the suspension, 11 fixed mounting points for frame bags, bottles, and more, and full-sleeve internal cable guides including dropper post routing and integrated frame protection.

The 4-Star 2x version of the Niner MCR 9 RDO comes with a Shimano GRX800 gravel-specific drivetrain. It has an 11-speed cassette that has an excellent 11-32-tooth gear range that makes climbing a breeze without sacrificing your top speed. The Shimano GRX800 hydraulic disc brakes provide exceptional stopping power so you can ride with confidence. The Stan's NoTubes Grail S1 wheels are paired with Schwalbe G-One Evo tires and are both tubeless so you can ditch the tubes for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. The Fox 32 XC Float fork provides 40mm of travel for small bump performance and the X-Fusion Microlite RL rear shock has 50mm of travel and can easily be locked out.
