These XC and cyclocross-oriented shoes are tough enough to withstand the rigors of off-road riding, featuring a durable perforated synthetic leather upper and lightweight Ultread XC rubber sole. The XC702’s provide an ultra-stiff pedaling platform by way of their carbon fiber reinforced midsole, a 7 out of 12 on the Shimano Stiffness Rating scale, avoiding wasted watts. The surround wrapping upper and dual BOA® L6 dials combine to eliminate unnecessary volume and reduce discomfort, resulting in an ultra-comfortable and efficient performance shoe for all types of off-road riding.
