Upside down/inverted forks are all the rage these days. There are a ton of benefits to having an inverted fork, such as ride feel and robustness so it makes sense to install one on your all-mountain, enduro, or e-bike, but is it all rainbows and sunshine? Although these styles of forks do offer a lot of benefits, there are also clear downsides compared to a regular mountain bike fork. With Fox releasing the Podium earlier this year, and Push Industries releasing their Nine One fork a year or two back, we wanted to get them together and go over some quick details of both offerings and talk about what the differences are. Join us as we go over some product specs of the Fox Podium and Push Industries Nine One inverted mountain bike forks!
"Three years ago, 43-year-old Tylor James rented a bike in Whistler and dropped into his first trail. Today, he’s riding shoulder-to-shoulder with some of freeride’s biggest names, backed by major sponsors, and proving that passion and positivity can take you places never thought possible. This is the story of how a dad with a little moto experience and an all-around good human turned a late start into a dream opportunity on two wheels."
Wolf Tooth Components came out swinging with their first clipless pedal lineup: the CTRL, ALT, and DEL SPD-compatible mountain bike pedals. The CTRL pedal is oriented towards trail riding, with a focus on power transfer, control, and weight in mind. The ALT pedal is oriented for cross country/XC riding, focusing on the perfect mix of performance and weight. Finally, the DEL pedal is oriented towards gravel racing, with a focus on weight and aerodynamics. With a host of innovative features, these brand new clipless pedals from Wolf Tooth Components are more than just another SPD pedal, they’re the face of innovation in an otherwise crowded space.
For the first time ever, we made the trip out to Arkansas for the 2025 Bentonville Bike Fest. First off, we can’t say nearly enough about how cool this event and area is for the mountain bike community! We had an incredible time riding a ton of AMAZING trails and hope to be back for more next year. This year we came out to meet up with many of our customers for an appreciation dinner and stopped by some of our partners booths to check out what they had that is new for 2025. If you have some time to kill, join Chris as he goes over some cool new products and chats with some of our favorite brands about what’s so special about Bentonville.
